(Riverside, CA) – National Payroll Week (NPW) coincides with the week of Labor Day and highlights the achievements and partnerships between employees and payroll professionals. During NPW, we celebrate payday and honor the hard work and dedication of our workers and the payroll professionals who ensure paychecks are accurate and on-time.
“I take great pride in our Payroll Division and all the hard work our employees continue to give back to the County,” said Riverside County Auditor-Controller Ben J. Benoit. “During this week’s celebration of National Payroll Week, I personally want to say thank you to every one of our employees in our Payroll Division. I have seen first-hand the dedication and commitment the Payroll Division continues to provide throughout the County in making sure 25,000 county employees are paid every two weeks.”
This celebration also serves as a reminder of the vital contributions payroll professionals make to the smooth functioning of the County’s various government programs and services.
“Payroll week celebrates the economic, cultural, and social achievements of employees across America and the significance of ‘an honest day’s work for an honest day's pay,’” said Deputy Audit-Controller Payroll Division Jonathan Jensen. “We understand the importance of National Payroll Week and continue to work together as a division to provide a high level of service. We strive to deliver everyone their paycheck and provide the best service we can to our fellow employees.”
NPW serves as a platform for educating workers across the nation about the intricacies of their paychecks, empowering them with insights to better understand their earnings and financial well-being.
