Introduction to Climate Change Class Wednesday

Do you have climate change questions? This class explains how climate change impacts our environment and what contributes to it. Learn the basics about factors that are causing climate change. Learn about adjustments we can make that could make a difference in slowing climate change in our community. Discover actions we can take now that will impact our environment for the better. This virtual presentation is led by our Recycling Specialist II who will be available to answer waste related Climate Change questions.
This virtual class begins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 16. Simply access from any computer, tablet or smart phone to the Webex meeting link: www.rcwaste.org/classes The virtual class is free and will end by 7 p.m. No need to register beforehand.
The Riverside County Department of Waste Resources offers a variety of FREE environmental education classes related to waste reduction and sustainability. Class instructors provide attendees with professional learning and instructional materials that demonstrate environmental diversion themes such as composting, recycling, and green cleaning.
