Riverside County’s Annual Tax Sale Scheduled for April

RIVERSIDE, CA – The County of Riverside Treasurer-Tax Collector Office is scheduled to host its annual tax sale on Thursday, April 24, 2025, and conclude on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, hosted online by, Bid4Assets.com.
“This is an important process that we handle with the highest level of transparency,” said Matthew Jennings, Riverside County Treasurer-Tax Collector. “By offering the sale online, we’re able to expand access, increase participation, and ensure a smooth, efficient process for bidders.”

The sale follows a process established by revenue and taxation codes to ensure proper notice and a public hearing before approval by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, which took place on January 7, 2025.
This year’s tax sale will feature 389 properties with unpaid taxes totaling approximately $8.35 million. Interested bidders must submit a refundable deposit of $5,000, plus a $35 processing fee, by Monday, April 21, 2025. Deposits must be made via wire transfer, certified check, or cashier’s check.
