Santa Claus, festive trees to warm hearts and light up holiday season at annual fair
November 25, 2024
RIVERSIDE, CA (Nov. 25, 2024) – ‘Tis the season for the Festival of Trees Holiday Fair to transform the Riverside Convention Center into a holiday wonderland filled with beautifully decorated Christmas trees, vendors and fun activities for the whole family November 29-30.
The fair, which benefits the Riverside University Health System Foundation, runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. The public is invited to visit more than 40 vendors selling such items as jewelry, leather goods and holiday decor; enjoy festive holiday snacks; and marvel at nearly 60 uniquely adorned holiday trees. The fair also has events for children, including holiday crafts, face painting and photos with Santa.
This special event is free and open to the public.
“We’re so excited to bring this wonderful event to the public for another year,” said Corinne Awad, Senior Director of Development for the Foundation. “The fair not only helps the Foundation support some of the county’s most vulnerable patients, but also gives visitors the chance to make wonderful holiday memories.”
The Festival of Trees has raised funds for the Foundation – the major nonprofit partner of the Riverside University Health System – for 35 years, supporting such areas as RUHS – Medical Center’s Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units and behavioral health programs.
More than 5,000 people are expected to attend this year.
The Riverside Convention Center is located at 3637 5th St., Riverside. Reservations are not required.
