American Red Cross: Riverside County
Volunteers carry out 90 percent of the humanitarian work of the Red Cross. Whether from the comfort of your own home or onsite working with teams, your talents can make a real difference in the community.
Animal Shelter Volunteer Program
Volunteers at the Riverside County shelters improve the welfare of homeless animals by walking the dogs, brushing and petting the cats, giving a dirty pup a bath, making a kitten a new bed to sleep in and more.
Community Outreach Volunteer Services

Home Gardening and Horticulture
Master gardeners are trained to provide the novice green thumbs of Riverside County with research-based information to promote environmentally-friendly gardening practices, including how to use natural remedies to ward off pests and how to compost.
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
The Riverside County Office on Aging provides more than 20 different programs and services to seniors, including social engagement and meal deliveries, that rely on the help of volunteers.
