County Waste Resources Department to provide free Green Landscaping virtual class

The Department of Waste Resources is excited to offer a free class to Riverside County residents on green landscaping. This presentation will be offered online on Wednesday (February 21) from 6 - 7 p.m.

Attendance is free and the class can be accessed on any computer, tablet or smartphone. 

Green landscaping, also referred to as sustainable landscaping, is an easy and cost-efficient way to be more environmentally friendly. Learn the importance of using Riverside County’s native plants in landscape designs.  Consider various ways to implement water conservation, this class answers questions about closing the loop on green waste and utilizing green space efficiently. Green landscapes are helpful for residents and businesses alike. Join Riverside County Department of Waste Resources to learn strategies to practice a sustainable lifestyle in the garden.
