This Disclaimer contains important information regarding the Riverside County Mobile App (the “App”).  Riverside County (“RivCo”) ("us", "we", or "our"), operates the RivCo Mobile App (the “App”).
RivCo works to ensure the App contains correct and up-to-date information regarding community services and events. 
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree with this Disclaimer and you further acknowledge that your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.  The contents of the App, including without limitation, all data, information, text, graphics, links, and other materials are provided " AS IS" without warranty of any kind.  RivCo does not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, or reliability of the information contained on the App and for decisions taken by the user based solely on the information provided on the App.
No warranties, promises, and/or representations of any kind, expresses or implied, are given as to the nature, standard, accuracy, or otherwise of the information provided in this mobile app nor to the suitability or otherwise of the information to your circumstances. Through, your use of this App you acknowledge and agree that the information and/or documents provided is simply information and should not be considered advice.
RivCo cannot and will not guarantee that the App is free from computer viruses or anything else that may have a destructive effect on users’ devices or cloud services. RivCo will not accept responsibility for any technical failure of the Internet and/or this App, or any damage or injury to users or their equipment as a result of or relating to your use of the App.
RivCo shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever nature (direct, indirect consequential, or other) whether arising in contact, tort, or otherwise, which may arise as a result of your use of (or inability to use) the App, or from your use of (or failure to use) the information on this site. This App provides links to other websites and social media owned by third parties. The content of such third-party sites is not within RivCo’s control and RivCo cannot and will not take responsibility for the information or content thereon. Links to such third-party sites are not to be taken as an endorsement by RivCo of the third-party site, or any products and services that are promoted, offered or sold on the third-party site, nor that such sites are free from computer viruses or anything else that has destructive properties. RivCo cannot and does not take responsibility for the collection or use of personal data from any third-party site. In addition, RivCo will not accept responsibility for the accuracy of third-party information and advertisements.

You further agree not to use the App to:

1. Harass, abuse, or threaten others or violate a person’s legal rights and shall not publish or disseminate material that incites violence, hate, or discrimination towards any group;
2. Violate any intellectual property rights of RivCo or any third party;
3. Upload or otherwise disseminate any computer viruses or other software that may damage the property of another;
4. Perpetrate a fraud;
5. Engage in unlawful behavior including unlawful gambling or publicizing or distributing obscene material;
6. To unlawfully gather information about others.

Through the use of this App, you agree that the laws of California shall govern any matter relating to or arising from this disclaimer and any legal action will be heard in a court of competent jurisdiction within the County of Riverside.

In the event a dispute shall arise between the parties to this [contract, lease, etc.], it is hereby agreed that the dispute shall be referred to the United States Arbitration & Mediation for arbitration in accordance with the United States Arbitration & Mediation Rules of Arbitration.

RIVCO MOBILE APP PRIVACY POLICY

Riverside County, Riverside County (“RivCo”) (“us”, “we”, or “our”), operates the RivCo Mobile App (the “App”). This Privacy Policy (the “ Policy”) informs you of RivCo's policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the App.
RivCo offers the App as an exclusive service provided to the residents of Riverside County, CA (“community”) for the exclusive use of its residents, employees of RivCo, and other parties authorized by RivCo to service the community. RivCo may collect and use your Personal Information to communicate with you regarding the App services that you may use.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

Information Collection and Use
In using our App, we may ask you to provide us with Personal Information that can be used to service your needs and/or improve your use of the App, such as your name, email address, location, etc. Users have the opportunity, when using the App, to grant or deny access to their contacts, calendar, and device location, and access to photos, media, and files in their device. However, the Personal Information collected during such process will not be stored on RivCo’s systems and will be discarded after such Personal Information has been used exclusively to support users’ activities while using the App.

Log Data
Like many App operators, we collect information whenever you use the App (“ Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“ IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our App that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
In addition, we may use third-party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze the use of the App. Personally identifiable information such as your name, street address, email, or other contact information shall not be proved to the third-party statistical service providers.
We may collect various usage information for statistical and analytical purposes such as the number of users, analyze the location of users, and how often a particular feature is being used. We will use these statistics for the continuous refinement and advancement of the mobile app features and content. We shall not share the information we collect with any third party.

Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web App and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Like many Apps, we use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser or device to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our App.
